The Boss, then, suddenly, leaps out of his chair,

MR. DITHERS  “There was a time I would have leaped right out of my chair and grabbed you!”

Which he does — he grabs him — (Dagwood flies back aghast…) and then proceeds to twirl him up over his head,

he, then, heaves a dazed Dagwood across the floor — into the hall,

Herb  and Dagwood  continue chatting outside on the Bumstead’s front lawn patio, comparing the merits of each others Barbecue grill choice,  when a neighbor suddenly (like combustion) emerges up and around… then over… a grassy knoll  and, right on to the Woodley’s front lawn — on a contraption the size of a small bulldozer.

Then, quickly barrels toward both men…
